Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today that on August 9, 2016, deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office executed a court ordered eviction at 5 Elm Ridge Blvd. in Huntsville, Alabama. While the uniformed deputies were executing the civil process, they observed materials consistent with Identify Theft and production of counterfeit identifications. Based on their alert observations, they notified the Criminal Investigations Division about the materials that were found. The Investigators responded to the residence and wrote a Search Warrant for materials relating to Identity Theft and other fraudulent monetary transactions to include the production of Identifications. Most notably found was a civilian Identification to Redstone Arsenal, Passports, and Driver Licenses. The search also revealed the presences of several computers. The occupants of the house attempted to remove these computers and place them in their vehicle so they could be removed from the property. Also located was a photo studio that might be part of the counterfeited identifications. Currency from Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia was also located inside the residence. There were multiple credit cards under various names located inside the residence. The preliminary investigation has yielded approximately 95 names that we believe have been used in various fraudulent financial activities. At the conclusion of the Search Warrant, Miles Rashod Tibbs, black male born in 1981, was arrested for Trafficking in Stolen Identities with a bond set of $15,0000 and Sean Anthony DeCambra, male born in 1977, was arrested for Possession of a Forged Instrument (Passport) with a bond set of $15,000. We are currently attempting to locate Monualdai Kareem Burnett Tibbs black male born in 1980 in conjunction with this investigation. Homeland Security has secured the computers and will conduct a thorough Forensic Investigation on them. All three subjects mentioned are self-proclaimed Sovereign Citizens.

We have requested assistance from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Army Criminal Investigation Division at Redstone Arsenal. All of those agencies are currently assisting us with the large scale investigation.

Miles Rashod Tibbs currently has warrants for Theft by Deception, Unlawful Breaking & Entering into a Vehicle, and Identity Theft through UAH Police Department. Madison County Sheriff’s Office has a warrant for Monualdai Kareem Burnett Tibbs for Trafficking in Stolen Identities.

Miles Rashod Tibbs and Sean Anthony DeCambra were arrested on probable cause by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and are presumed innocent until determined otherwise by the judicial system.

Questions concerning this release may be directed to Madison County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Capt. Michael Salomonsky (256) 533-8820.
