Jason Allen Dyer charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Attempting to Elude

Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today that at approximately 1300 hours on August 17, 2016, Jason Allen Dyer, white male, born 7-7-1983, was taken into custody off Guy Wilson Rd. in the Hazel Green area. Investigators with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received information that Dyer was at this location. Investigators formed a perimeter and executed the arrest without incident. Dyer was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Attempting to Elude (from incident last week), and a parole violation with no bond. This arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation. The investigation continues and further charges may be filed against Jason Allen Dyer.

After Dyer was located and taken into custody, a warranted search of the property was completed and contraband used to manufacture Methamphetamine was located. Based on this evidence, three subjects were also arrested: Chad Hastings, white male, born 7-3-1974, Kelsie Meyers, white female, born 10-2-1992 and Kaila Brumlow, white female, born 1-2-1986 and bonds were set at $100,000 each.

Jason Allen Dyer, Chad Hastings, Kelsie Meyers, and Kaila Brumlow were arrested on probable cause by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and are presumed innocent until determined otherwise by the judicial system.
