FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Annual Christmas Prayers with a Cop

Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today that the Madison County Sheriff's Office will participate in the TL Blakemore Fraternal Order Police (FOP) – Lodge 6, Annual "Christmas Prayers with A Cop" event that will be held tonight, December 10th, 6:30 pm at Target in Jones Valley.

This event is sponsored by Lodge 6 in cooperation with WAYFM 88.1 Alabama, Inside Out Ministries, Target, Johnson Orthodontics, a private donor, and Huntsville/Madison County Law Enforcement Agencies.

Families with Children were nominated through and selected by WAYFM Alabama. Inside Out Ministries received the FOP donation and purchased gift cards from Target and additionally provides food baskets for each family. Target provides items for entertainment and refreshments. Cops, Chaplains and Jingles the Elf entertain the children while families shop.

This is the 11th year of this very rewarding event for all involved.
