FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 12, 2015

Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today that Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to call of a shooting in the 100 block of Thunderbird Drive located in Harvest, Alabama around 3 a.m. this morning. Investigators have arrested Fitzgerald Mcqueen, 50 year old male of Harvest, Alabama for Assault 1st degree in reference to the shooting.  When Deputies arrived on the scene of the shooting they made contact with an 18 year old male who suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The male was transported to Huntsville Hospital.  The male is also an acquaintance of the Mcqueen family and was involved in a dating relationship with Mr. Mcqueen’s minor child.  This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be added at a later date.

 Mr. Mcqueen’s arrest was based upon Probable Cause and he should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
