FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE-MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today the launching of a new Website where residents can find the latest information regarding the operations of the Sheriff’s Office as well as track local sex offenders and view recent arrest information and jail booking photographs.

 

The new Website, www.MadisonCountySheriffAL.org features press releases, message from Sheriff Blake Dorning, pages or tabs on the services of each Sheriff’s Office Division or initiative as well as a link to submit crime tips via email.

 

Other features of the Website include:

 

Alert Notifications-allows the public to sign up for alert notifications from the Sheriff’s Office via email or text-including employment notifications, press releases, messages from the Sheriff, and Most Wanted fugitive updates.

 

Social Media Links-allows the public to follow the Madison County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook and Twitter.

 

Most Wanted Listings-allows the public to view photos and descriptions of fugitives wanted for local Madison County crimes.

 

In addition, the public can directly access specific Sheriff’s Office programs and information such as the School Resource Office (SRO) program, Safety Tips, Pistol Permit process, Missing Persons information, Community Watch, and Complaint Reporting.

 

Our new Website allows the Sheriff’s Office to connect directly with the citizens of Madison County to establish both accountability and transparency in our daily operations. We encourage all Madison County citizens to sign up for alerts via email or text and involve themselves more by taking an active role is helping us with Community Policing efforts to reduce crime and make our communities safer in the process. We invite all Madison County residents to visit our site and become familiar with how to locate sex offenders, submit a crime tip, and see the latest news press releases from the Sheriff’s Office.  We are excited about our new Website and looking forward to bringing the latest news and information about the Sheriff’s Office to our community,”—said Sheriff Dorning.
